Di Maria sees red for dive and ref push
The Argentine started the game well as he provided an excellent assist for Wayne Rooney, but his night soon turned sour after he was sent off for simulation and dissent
Angel Di Maria was sent off in Manchester United's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Arsenal.
The 27-year-old went down under a challenge from Aaron Ramsey after 75 minutes at Old Trafford, but was adjuged to have dived and shown a yellow card.
Di Maria, clearly upset with the decision, then pushed referee Michael Oliver in the back as his name was being taken.
That left Oliver with no choice but to show the Argentine his second yellow in as many minutes, leaving United with ten men for the remainder of the game.
Di Maria will miss United's home game against Tottenham next weekend and potentially more if the Football Association increase his ban.
