Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has suggested that he and the rest of the national set-up are rooting for Barcelona over Atletico Madrid in the race for La Liga this weekend. Diego Simeone's men travel to Camp Nou on Saturday knowing that a draw or win will guarantee them a shock title victory, while defeat in Catalunya will result in Barca taking home the trophy once again. With Brazil's Dani Alves and Neymar involved for Barca, Scolari is hoping that his two players can be given a boost ahead of the World Cup this summer by winning La Liga. "We not only want our players to play but to be champions," the coach told reporters. "That will boost our morale and self-esteem, and, with that, the Brazilian team also wins." Scolari's comments came after the Brazilian football association (CBF) denied they had requested the Catalans to rest Neymar in Saturday's crucial Liga clash, as reports in Spain had claimed. "The reports, which are wrong, are completely the opposite direction and thoughts of members," the CBF said in a statement. Brazil feature in their first match of the World Cup - in which they are hosts - on June 12, with the final to be played on July 13.
